The other night we had 7 neighbors standing around our huge pine tree watching a locust emerge from its shell! Our next door neighbor is an ISU entomologist and he was explaining about the yearly vs 17 year locusts--amazing to watch! You captured a much better pic than we did! Love ya, Aunt Sharie
